I got your point, it’s just fun poking the bear over it. I will forever be jealous of your culinary abilities good sir. Too make up for my child abuse and Tom foolery I went to the seafood market today and got 2 lbs of fresh jumbo shrimp, peeled and devained it to make a marvelous shrimp alfredo.

Had a small town tradition. Grilled chicken dinner from the Crane Broiler Festival. They have been grilling chicken in the park, on the last weekend of August since 1951. Took the grandkids for the rides at the carnival.

Make pineapple shrimp fried rice tonight for the first time. Cooked it on the cast iron griddle in the backyard, by all reports it was a success, but I was too hungry to pause for a photo.

Chicken, corn and coconut soup with Thai basil, cilantro, and mint from the garden on the side. We had it in bowls with fresh spinach on the bottom, jasmine rice next followed by the soup and garnished with the green stuff.
Made up a fresh garden tomato sauce with Italian sausage, fresh basil and oregano. Had it with pasta. Also roasted tomatoes and processed them with basil and oregano and made six pints for the freezer.
