Here shown in action with an Uppowoc Perfecto. Hardly a day goes by I don't use this essential cigar accoutrement.

Eximious. Had to look that one up. Good word!

I filed grooves on the ridges so that I could set my cigar crosswise. That makes it easier to reach my thumb and forefinger round my stogie. I thought it an improvement on the original design. Next time I'm out there I'll snap a pic showing.

Better than good... it's a pluperfect word.

We are heirs to a comprehensive nuanced vast vocabulary which we mostly ignore.

Indeed. But our kids live in digital virtual paracosms devoid of meaningful speech, while the art of conversation once learned in the sobremesa creates a generation with increasing lethologica. ;^)

As promised, here is a pic of my modest mod of Dan's eximious stogie stand:

    This MotoX snaps blurry close-ups.
You can see from the toasty smirch how much it's used.
And here is how it works:

Allows you to stick your fingertips into the channel. Easier to grab a robusto or under. It ain't the spork, but it's handy. Takes a minute with a Dremel.
