Sharp piece of metal

I am looking for a single piece of metal knife that I can get wet. I have an internship at a state park this summer and will be doing some water activities. I need a knife that I can use and save my good pocketknife.
Any suggestions that wont break the bank?

Gerber makes a couple of inexpensive utility blades that hold up very well, this one's been in the ocean more than a few times, I've abused the crap out of it and it's still tight. about $25 I think

Cold Steel has some great options too. I have their Fish and Bird knife and I love it. I stand by Cold Steel for pocket knives and stuff. Quality pieces and most are decently priced.

Buy a leather man. If it rusts or breaks it will be replaced for 25 years.
