Gel and Glycol

Interesting little note with my order of gel.

Water evaporates while very little of the Glycol will. Once you use the Glycol mixture it is only necessary to use water for about a year before adding Glycol again.

    So do you mean that the Glycol stretches the time between needing to refill with water?

    Just confirming if I have it straight

    PG will stay after first charge and you only need to add distilled water; not necessary to use PG solution with every refill of a humidifier.  

    Time between refills isn't necessarily different.

    What Gray4lines said. Add the mixture the first time and then just distilled water for a year. Then start all over again.
