Your Thoughts on Sindicato, Please

The B&M I frequent most is having a month-long sale on Sindicatos...

Buy 2 Sindicato Natural or Maduro get 1 Natural/Maduro, Hex, or Affinty free.  Or, by 3 Sindicato Natural or Maduro, get 2 free.

Any favorites out of this line? 

I'm game to just go buy a Natural and a couple Maduros to get the Hex and Affinity free, go home and smoke 'em in time to go back by the end of the month, but hey, I belong to this great community, so why not draw on your expertise?  You all aren't bashful when it comes to sharing an opinion on cigars...

    I picked one up to buy at my B&M a couple weeks ago and the guy at the counter said it was average. I told him I have a humidor full of average cigars at home and put it back and picked up a Leccia Luchador instead.

    I liked the Hex perfecto.
    It's the only one I've tried of Sindicato.
    So I guess I'm "just average".

    Average is subjective and the fact that you put it back because of his comments, really makes me question whether he should be working in a cigar shop.
    BTW, if he was working for me, he wouldn't be.

    Saying it's average really doesn't tell you much, other than it was his opinion, based on his experiences. Not your experiences.

    Someone selling cigars shouldn't use terms like average, good or bad. Those are terms that are based on their experiences and tastes.
    It would be like me saying Acids are terrible. 
    They are to me, but some folks love them, so they aren't terrible, they are just not my taste.

    And there are folks that will say that Toranos are average.
    Yep, most of their line is, but they are so good at being average, I buy tons of them.

    So you can see my humor in it.  ;)

    The manager at my b&m has offered a ton of them to me for free...I passed on it since well I truly don't trust free cigars and if it's free the guy says it's good...even stuff I know he's out of his mind saying it's good. But now I think I should have tried at least one
