I'm not looking for the conservative's views on his far left/socialist ideas (I can guess that), but what effect will he have on Clinton in the primaries?

Any one who runs against billary will bring up some very questionable incidents which will hurt her in the polls. The question is and will always be, how many of the very large group of stupid people will finally get it. But it also depends on the mainstream press to print the truth and quit ignoring her very questionable choices. (I was as nice as possible, it won't happen again)

Ya know, I wouldn't be at all surprised if that is the sole reason he is running.

I'm hoping that she will clarify stances on big money, Wallstreet, TPP, banks etc.. It's healthy to have these discussions in debates.

He, like Elizabeth Warren, will probably force her to state her views on some of the issues of importance to the party liberals whose support (and votes) she'll need if she wants any chance of beating whichever Republican she's up against. So far, she's been far too connected to Wall Street thieves and not a strong advocate for making the hedge fund managers, derivatives traders and investment bankers pay the full price for nearly destroying the economy during the Great Recession. .

I think he's going to add to the political discussion but he's not going to get the nomination. It's kind of like the ultra concervative candidates that join the primaries to push the other candidates farther to the right.

You are probably right.  What I like about Mr. Sanders is that I know he really believes in what he says.  Also, I think that some of his ideas are where Right & Left should be looking for common ground.

I think the only one that could hurt Hillary right now would be Joe Biden, he wouldn't get the nomination but he could bring her down a notch or 2 in the field.  The Dem's are a tight group and it seems Hillary is their choice, for now.  I wonder why more dem's haven't thrown their hat in the ring.  That tells me something, not sure what though.

Former Rhode Island governor and Senator Lincoln Chalfee has also thrown his hat into the Democratic presidential ring. He was a moderate Republican for most of his political career, and a highly principled politicians who got along with people on both sides of the aisle. Like Sanders, he doesn't have a chance at the nomination (I think it will be ages before another New England Democrat is ever nominated for president again--our record is pretty dismal, results wise), but it will be good to get more views into the political pot.

If you've followed sanders he was independent. The reason he ran as a democrat, he didn't think he had a chance as independent with cash going to dems and reps.
I have seen him a few times. He wasn't afraid to call out either side if they were wrong or lying. I know one thing there is no way Scooter Walker will get my vote. Being from Wisconsin he sure made a mess of things and still mucking it up. There is another scandal going on about him again. Maybe we should vote for him so he leaves us alone here, hmmmmmmm maybe something to that.

CNN didn't explicitly come out and say it, but is Sanders drawing bigger crowds than Clinton....

I've had enough of the "political dynasties".....

Hoping Bernie gets the Democratic nomination ....
And anyone but Jeb gets the Republican nomination (well, except for that clown Trump.)

We don't need any more Clintons or Bushs in the white house if you ask me.
