Gonna make another run at it.....

Well, I think we're gonna try again to do the trip to Washington and Oregon that we had originally planned for April. I called that one off because I didn't think we were in condition to do it but things have improved somewhat and my child bride says she really wants to do it.

Tentative plans call for us to leave on 6/16 and spend a couple nights on the road at Yreka, CA and Salem, OR and arriving in Bellingham, WA on 6/18. We'll visit with Eric (EChambers) for a day or two and after a few days (tbd) we'll head south as far as Arlington, WA where we'll spend a day of two (?).

From Arlington the schedule gets a little loose. If there's any BOTLs in the middle part of WA who want to get together for a Herf, we'll hang around. Otherwise, we'll go from Arlington to Astoria, OR and visit Tony (0patience). After that we'll head for Canyonville, OR for a day or two before heading for home.

The reason for the stops at Arlington and Canyonville is that there are casinos there as well as in Ferndale, WA just out of Bellingham. We plan to visit the casinos to try their restaurants and cigar lounges as well as their craps tables and RV parking facilities. They could be kinda handy. We'll find out.

While we were planning that earlier trip there were some brothers who were interested in herfing and getting acquainted. Guys like Shotgun John, Big f'n Steve, and some others live in that general area, I think. I'm not sure about the Big Shizza. He may live too far away to be interested. And one or two others down around Centralia or Chehalis or thereabouts. And there's LiquidChaos and somebody else in the Portland area. We'll spend a night in Salem on the way home, just in case...

Anyway, I'd be thrilled to meet any and all who might be interested and enjoy a cigar and a toddy or three with ya. Please let me know.
