Hi BOTL,
As the title suggests, I am looking for vintage NIB or LNC shrader and old timer folding pocket knives.
The new ones are (nearly) all stainless, and not my preference.
I have several of the older ones, but would like to pick up some for my sons.
Other than combing the local antique stores, can any knife guys recommend where I could go about picking up the old model carbon folding knives?
Do any of you guys have a source you trust?
For the BOTL to whom a knife is a knife is a knife, here is a tidy chart talking about some knife steel types (not exhaustive, BTW, but good info):

Some of the BOTL have heard me say in the past "even if you're looking for chocolate covered horse turds, you'll probably find 'em on eBay". I've never failed to find what I was looking for there. I haven't always bought there, but I've always found what I was looking for.
P.S. I HAVE bought a lot of stuff there. Never been disappointed with my buys ..0 -

I deleted my profile a few years back. Might be time to open a new acount

Picked this one up from the antique store yesterday.
A sweet lil carbon three blade that should last him his entire life
Sometimes being a dad is really great. I love the opportunities to teach them and when they are receptive and excited to learn“There’ll be two dates on your tombstone and all your friends will read ’em but all that’s gonna matter is that little dash between ’em.” -Kevin Welch0
