blend change vitola

I understand that the blend is different depending on vitola on undercrowns (Corona viva = the good ones?). Is there others out there that change as well?

    As to blends, who knows--I suspect the rollers could say, but you might be hard pressed to get more info because trade secrets.

    I can speak to the flavors differing between the differing sizes. 

    the former head merchant posted some info on this a while back -- the venturi effect is to blame. Smoke travels through the different ring gauges and will hit the palette at differing speeds. The tongue has sections which seem to interpret flavors sooner than other sections. 

    This article is a bit contradictory (it says no to the sections idea, then says some sections do indeed interpret faster), but is a good resource at trying to wrap your head around the idea
