It's a glorious day in the neighborhood....

And Mr. Rogers isn't here to enjoy it with me. Too bad. The sun is shining. It's 60 degrees out. My cat is out here enjoying it with me. It's a good thing she's not into cigars cuz I ain't sharing this PSD4 with her....image

Wish I could be there to enjoy a smoke with you, Marty. It's 32 degrees here in Fred Rogers' hometown.  :(

    Great picture, btw.

Marty, looks like an excellent location to sit, fumar, and ruminate.

Is there, perhaps, an adult beverage in arms reach? If so, sounds like casi cielo

    Excellent choice of stick!

No, it was a tad early for an adult beverage and since I don't do 'Charbucks' it wasn't casi cielo. Would you believe it was just a Pepsi?  I'm a huge fan of premium coffee but I had already had coffee earlier. I've found that a Pepsi works well for cleansing my palate so that's what it was.....  B)

Ya know, Jay, I goofed. I googled 'casi cielo' and got a ton of references to a Charbucks coffee by that name but it didn't occur to me to try translating it from Spanish where it means 'almost heaven'. And in that context, you were quite right - the day was most certainly casi cielo. Thanks for that, my friend...

And tomorrow's forecast is for more of the same.....  B)

Looks like a fine day.  I too appreciate the "stach".  I grew a full beard hoping for the distinguished professor look, but my students keep telling me what they want for Chirstmas.  I think I missed.

Thanks, @YankeeMan (Rick), I've wished on a few occasions that I could grow a full beard. I got to where I hated shaving every day. But the couple times I tried it proved to me that the cheek areas were far too thin to even qualify as a beard so I gave up that notion.

Jasper, my current mustache and part of the family, began growing the day before my cancer surgery. Afterwards, I was in ICU for 11days and another week or so in general population and I had no urge nor energy for shaving. Once I got home I shaved all but what was scheduled to be a 'Yosemite Sam' mustache.

Later, a round of backup chemo caused the vertical portion of the mustache on the right side to fall off. The rest hung in there. So, to kinda even things up a bit I had to remove the left portion. It, and the horizontal portion were not about to let go.

Anyway, what was left evolved into what is now Jasper. I've gotten kinda fond of the rascal.....  B)
