A while ago my family was selected for a habitat home. Today we got to see two houses. One that has been earmarked for us, and a much much larger one that they might be able to get us into. For all you praying folks out there, we are agreeing for Lot #10.

We donate to them a lot and I know quite a few people who have been recipients of their homes. It is one of the few charities that I regularly support.
Their Habitat for Humanity Restores are great places to find great deals on building materials.
Here is hoping the best for you.
Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
Wylaff, hope you and yours get the house you want.
And that sounds like excellent news having the other home already earmarked for you.
Definitely agree with you on that Tony. The Restores are a wonderful community resource and are a great place to donate unused building materials. Much better than throwing those unused items in the trash.

A friend who lives in Utah got one 15 yrs ago.
she raised all her kids in it now they are grown and gone and she's looking to sell it to another family that needs it.
it was a good thing for them.
Good luck bro.
What you can't forgive......you will become.
