Smoking Room Inauguration

I have a 100 year plus home; was an old farm house and has a zillion things still yet to be fixed on it.
Well, we converted a back storage room to our smoking room. Put a space heater and a couch, a rug, some lighting and tables and it is ready to go.
Sitting out in it tonight, smoking a nub 464 Cameroon to christen it. A bit on the chilly side, still needs three new windows, but it is mine!
Pretty excited to have a new space, lol

LOL!

Snapped a few pics from a couple angles. It is a work in progress
Congrats Bro!
At any given time the urge to sing "In The Jungle" is just a whim away... A whim away... A whim away...
lol and that will never change for as long as you own the house.
* I have a new address as of 3/24/18 *
Adjacent to the smoking area, there is an approximately 12' section of yard before the neighbors property. It is north facing, grass doesn't grow there, and it is pretty much a useless bit of dirt. The former storage room has an old sliding glass door that we are thinking of swapping a set of French doors on, then somehow configuring that useless 12' dirt patch into an outside patio/breakfast nook, prolly gonna do crushed gravel as pavers are hella expensive, but the space can really shine if we put s little elbow grease to it.
Amazing what clearing out a bunch of old crap that we never used anyway can do. Immediate space!
Throw some pinball machines in, a popcorn maker, TV and a fridge and you'll never have to leave there.
Well, mostly never. LOL!

Tons of work, but its cool to think about how my house was already 30 years old and someone was smoking a cigar in the parlor wondering about whether the new guy, Abe Lincoln, would be able to straighten this country out.
I've spent all day putting down new flooring in our master bedroom.
It would have taken half the time normally. LOL!
Now that most of it is down, I found out that the "quality" flooring we paid extra for, is crap. You know, the salesman told us how well it holds up and all. (He's a liar, imagine that.)
I could have bought better flooring for less.
Oh well, live and learn.

I picked up some cigar art and added some curtains.
Stogies are are putting me in touch with my inner decorator...
