My wife sometimes refers to my cigar times as "mini vacations".

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.

That's what I feel like. I have a hard time sitting down and relaxing for more than five minutes as my brain constantly tells me that I should be doing something. A cigar gives me an hour or more to stare at the clouds and the trees, enjoy a beverage and watch the world go by without any of my normal guilt. My wife encourages my guiltless time.
Life is good, don't waste it.

I refer to them as my cheap therapy sessions.

Its my "daddy time", whereas my wife calls my time on the GPz my "therapy sessions" for me at least. I always have a better mood after a good ride on the bike, whereas with a cigar I am always very mellow and just let everything roll off my back.

I agree easiest way for me to relax is toast up a cigar. Instant stress relief. The wife has said please go smoke a cigar.

ROFL, I will just leave that where the good lord flung it!

I was talking to a guy recently associated with work, said that he had been happily married for over 10 years. I told him congrats and he smirked and said, "thanks, shame the other 20 years weren't happily as well but at least 10 of them so far have been"

I nearly choked I was laughing so hard :D

When ever I'm asked how long I've been married, if my wife is with me, it's one of those guessing games.

Well, I've been married, tweeeeennnnty sev eigh nine? years?
As I'm looking for the frown to disappear from her face.
    LOL!

Tony, I always treasure your posts, they have been making me laugh for years and remind me of just another reason this is such a special place to me!

I could never remember my wife's birthday until 1999 because her birthday is Sept 9th so it was 9/9/99. Yep that was about 7 years into our relationship.

Some where I started a thread years back about significant others and this hobby.
I'll have to see if I can find it.
