I remember seeing these types of patterns in my mom's pile of sewing stuff. Fortunately she could never finish a project. The worst I got it was pajamas that matched my curtains....because she used the same material.

When I was a kid mom made my shirts out of feed bags. Back then the feed bags came with designs or cowboys and horses printed on them so they could be recycled into something useful.
