Howdy all,

Been reading for a while and finally decided to drop in and say hi. Loads of great info on this site, always a good read.....I just bought my first humidor and am in the process of seasoning it with a Boveda 84 seasoning kit. It's been going for a week, one more week to go (can't wait).

Anyhow, I look forward to many discussions

    Yep, that's small.

:( ... I replied to this but it went for approval!

LOL @ cooler, my wife isn't too impressed with todays order of cigars let alone filling up a cooler (and I only ordered 3 sticks).
It is small, but to be honest I only smoke every now and again and I wanted to get some experience. I'd like to think that eventually I'll get a bigger one.

    LOL!!!
Truth be told, I only smoke a stick once every couple of months, I'm not a big smoker.

The humi is mainly to hold a few sticks I'd like to eventually smoke and for some experience in maintaining it (I hope to buy a bigger one eventually)....I've got a few sticks on order to "christen" my humi once its seasoned :)

Welcome @Vallac. Keep your eye out for a cheap cooler; something small like a 54 Gal, er I mean Qt. "Just in case" your collection manages to exceed your immediate expectations. Or in case one of these nut jobs on here finds out your addy!

54gal....that's about 240 odd litres!!! If I were to fill something like that I'm sure my wife would cut parts of me off LOL. I told her today that I bought 3 cigars, she wasn't impressed....I needed to bribe her with shopping to get back in the good books

A couple Canadians, but mostly America. You'll learn very quickly that it is cheaper to buy boxes than individual sticks. And if you wait for sales, you can get your boxes for next to nothing. hence, get a cooler. Plus you can keep an empty cooler stanble if you need to. Good luck trying that with a humidor.
