    You know, this has to be a genius move on Nintendo's part.
    Loaded with 30 classic games, I like that.
    Guaranteed to pull in an older crowd.

    My questions would be....
    Will it play the old cartridges?
    Will you be able to download games?
    Will it be able to store games?

    As I understand it, it doesn't play or use cartridges so I assume it's an emulator with rom setup. I've already bought a case of hot pockets and Mt. Dew. Pizza hut is on speed dial and no need for a shower for awhile.

    I'm sure we'll end up with one, even though we never get time for video games anymore. I got my husband something similar for the Atari last year. He played once, said it was kind of buggy but I only spent $40 on it so I was t surprised :-/

    Unless they are pre-ordering?

    Dammit no.
    I checked all over and Amazon sold out in a few hours.

    We stopped at the local dept store, cause they were supposed to have them.
    They were all sold out, but the guy there said, and I quote, "We are supposed to get 4 more in the next week or two."

    Well hell, that many? Are you sure you can get them all sold?

    Well, it seems that it may be weeks before these get re-stocked at stores.
    And Nintendo wonders why Xbox is kicking the crap out of them?

    When HALO head developer can't get a console, then something is wrong.

    Seeing a bunch of numbers from some of the stores, it looks like most stores saw a max of 20 consoles. 
    Xbox execs are laughing about it. 
    One of them made the comment that it's funny that Nintendo would short supplies and not allow any pre-orders and let scalpers jack the prices up 300% or more and Nintendo makes nothing off that.

    I'm seeing them on Craigslist for $300+.  I'm pissed that people do that. I'll get one adventually.

    limited supply increases demand, for some reason people want what they can't get. Happens all the time in my shop.

    No rush. I'm guessing they'll still be hot through Christmas. I'll start looking in February or March.

    Did you find them at normal price anywhere? They're on amazon now for around $150. Too steep for my blood.
