    Watching the fireworks.  Got my left shoulder replaced with some titanium.  Smokin' and jokin' and postin' as usual.  How's life in North Dallas Forty?
    Taking a bit of adjusting but not too bad.  Not as painful as a shoulder replacement.  More like hemorrhoids.... Going all in and plan on attempting to smoke my first brisket tomorrow.....
    Gotta use mesquite.

    Finished up a MoW dark maduro and a little Knob Creek.

    Low and slow.....get good fat on the brisket and a good rub, then let time and smoke go to work. FYI, TD and KC sleep till noon.

    Hey Oy.  Yeah, no doubt they do.  I was a bit of a light weight last night for sure.  Nice to be back and "see" some old friends.  CB, TD and I lived close enough to see each other on a somewhat regular basis when I was in N. KY.  Now that the dust has settled a bit from this move, I am going to try to become a bit more sociable.  UPS delivered this 132lb beast yesterday and after I wrestled it around to the back patio and put it together, a little bourbon and a stick pretty much put me out......

    Looks like a nice rig. I think it's a law in Texas that every home must have a smoker. Enjoy playing with your new toy.
