Broke down and am smoking one of those plugged green seegars - one of those duty free Montecristos Colin brought me from Korea. Rather round about path from the sunny fields of Cuba. Need to prevail on one of you BOTL’s to tell me which vitola - 5.25 x 1 inch - as to which Montecristo this is. Colin was advised by the store clerk to remove all bands and packing. Of course having a rum and coke.

Ultimate in plumbing repair - and the City of Oxford paid for it. Actually they had to. Seems the city sends out a crew prior to a street paving to survey for the old original lead pipe city connection. Fortunately for us we don’t drink Oxford water because of the ungodly mineral content. The crew replaced the original lead pipe when Oxford first put in municipal water. Took ‘em a 100 years to replace that original connection. Gonna check with the family doctor whether we should have a blood test for lead. Find us some shyster lawyer and sue they azz!
