I have a client who brought in an Olivia V Melanio for me and I wanted to return the favor.. what are some cigars that have a similar flavor profile?

Anything with the same wrapper, I suppose.
It really isn't that easy a question to answer.
What I believe to be similar may be completely different for you.

Off hand, I'd say EP Carillo maybe?
Why go with a similar profile?

I think it's in a league of its own! Very good smoke! Maybe a Padron Anniversary? I think the few 1926 that I've had were similar? Pricey though!

I'd say MOW Armada or RP decade are fairly similar. It's been a while since I've had a Melanio though

I say give him whatever you like; if you like it he may too.  The guy might want to try something you like that would be outside of what he normally smokes.

You could always smoke it, and think to yourself "This reminds me of _____."

I didn't have time to smoke last night and weather won't let me smoke till.... maybe Sunday? But that's Easter and my wedding anniversary. So it's a no go for a while. Lol

i ended up snagging an Undercrown and Undercrown shade for him. Those are two of my favorites. Hopefully he enjoys them. :) thanks for your input everyone! Sadly I didn't have anything in my humidor that matched your suggestions. Lol

What Peter said. Personally, I love when a cigar friend gifts me something I've never had. I appreciate the thought if I'm gifted something I already have but love trying different things.
