So, just before noon today I received a pm from Peter.
@peter4jc
He told me my doom was upon me.
Not one to wait around, I
Immediately I started filling sandbags.  To no avail.
He blew out the mailbox and left my house a smoldering wreck.
Now, I know what a yellow cello means, but this is more brown than yellow. ...
So I'm guessing a few of these have been hibernating.
The nubber is nothing short of a work of art.
And my wife has claimed the coffee, I wisely choose to not argue with her, and she has found your site, we love different kinds of coffee.
Most of these cigars I have never heard of I'm going to be Googling.
Thank you very much brother.  I really appreciate that.

Wow.

Sorry about that, chief.  You know what they say about the first one being free.  The next time I reorder the bags, I'll have them put a warning label on it.

Should I keep the whole beans in the fridge after opening?

Not a good idea unless it is well sealed and you let the beans come to room temperature before opening the jar/bag. Better to use up the lb. he sent in a week or two and order more!  o:)

Besides, caffeine helps the body clear nicotine so you can smoke more.

    ^^^ What Edward said.

The fridge is bad because flavors from other stuff can migrate.  Plus, it's not cold enough to help anything.  Freezers can slow down staling, but unless you're going to put it in and leave it in, and then as Edward said, let it come up to room temp before opening so moisture in the air doesn't condensate onto the beans, don't do it.  Freezing is only for long-term storage.

Just enjoy it every day, and enjoy it.

Oxygen is the main culprit, followed by moisture, then light.  So using an airtight container (bag it came in) in a dry/dark spot (inside a cupboard) is all you need.
