Stumbled across these at an estate sale. Anyone recognize them? A quick Google search didn't turn up anything.

Amos_Umwhat Posts: 8,921 ✭✭✭✭✭Not a U.S. patch that I recognize, but then, I'm old. I suspect European, the Crown is interesting, who'd have that? My instinct says Dutch or Danish. Do the Danes have a military? I know the Dutch do.

0patience Posts: 10,665 ✭✭✭✭✭Almost looks like a Group 8 from the Netherlands Dutch Army, but not quite.
But the only 2 I can think of that use the lion and crown configuration is the Dutch and Germany armies.
Germany has used the lion and crown, but not that design.

Hard to tell for.
Could be a form of the Royal Dutch Army of the Netherlands from WW2.
Netherlands Corp had a similar patch in the late 70s and early 80s as part of the NATO group in Germany and with German groups.
So it is possible that it may be from one of those campaigns.
It's really one of those that you need someone who knows European military.
It's possible that it's even an offshoot of some military fraternity.
