I think you get to change it once when you first sign up, should be in Profile settings.

Click on the gear icon and edit profile. 
You might be able to change your screen name there.

Using Android or PC?
On Android, tap on the three hash marks, then tap on your name.
Then on your profile page, tap on the little man icon and then tap on edit profile.

If you can change your username, it should be on that page.

If you still can't change your handle, then try sending a request to customer service.

Well, you used to be able to change your screen name, but I'm not finding it anymore.
I don't know if they changed that or not.
You might have to sign up again with a name you want.

I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something.

I never saw an option for nickname when I signed up.

Well, now you're going to have to change it back, or tell us WTH heavysetrapier means.

It is a randomly generated name I started using a long time ago due to its uniqueness.
