Everyone panic.
It's amazing when you work for a public entity that deals with first response and emergency management.
This eclipse thing has everyone all wound up.
We need to be on call, on standby and have all these signs and stuff.

Good grief, it's gonna get a little dark for 20 minutes. Big deal.

It's only gonna be dark for about 2 1/2 minutes, but that's not the problem. In the 70-80 mile-wide swath of the moon's shadow that crosses the entire country, there will be millions of people traveling in and out of that swath within just a few hours. It's the traffic congestion that's the problem, not the darkness.
