Not in a while, but I did bid on several different lots a while ago and lost all of them... got bid up to darn close to retail prices by others. I didn't really have the room for all of them so I was saved by the other bidders.

There was a box of Torano 1916 coronas that went for $47. I should have bid on it, but I walked away thinking it would go for at least $75. I think that is why I like the Free Fall. I know exactly what I want to pay and if it gets there, I buy.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
“It has been a source of great pain to me to have met with so many among [my] opponents who had not the liberality to distinguish between political and social opposition; who transferred at once to the person, the hatred they bore to his political opinions.” —Thomas Jefferson (1808)
Actually, I'm just at the end of one of those bidding weeks. My strategy this week on cigarbid was to make very competitive bids on a couple lots I really wanted and lowball a whole bunch of lots I'd kinda like to have. At last count, I've lost lost 8 bids and won 20. I visualized this going the other way around. Definitely going to have to take a month or two off, but I got some truly ridiculous deals. I'm not unhappy.

Fortunately, I have a 10 pack coming from the daily deal the other day.
I'm gonna be pretty stocked up on the Torano 1916s. LOL!
