On November 10th 1775 at Tuns Tavern in Philadelphia the Marine Corps was born. That makes it 242 years the Marines have been serving our country. Happy birthday all you Jarheads.

    Happy Birthday Marines!  I made the mistake once of referring to a Marine as a former Marine.  I quickly learned there is no such thing.  Once a Marine always a Marine!

    I never made THAT mistake again.
