Memphis New Years

Last minute shot in the dark.  I will be in downtown Memphis 29 Dec - 1 Jan.  Anything I shouldn't miss?  Any decent places to enjoy cigars, bourbon, and music? Any botl around and interested in a smoke on me?

Make sure you wear your BP vest

Last time I was downtown, Beale Street, I narrowly missed getting caught up in a riot/stampede. It's a fun place but can get dicey too. The cigar shop I know of (Havana Mix) will get pretty full of people and smoke in the evening but you might find a seat if you go during the day. https://www.facebook.com/pg/havanamix1/photos/?ref=page_internal

Wish I could offer more info.

Saw this place, hoping to hit it when I land after the hotel... hopefully minimal riots, but it is a bowl game weekend, so... yeah

    1)  The restaurant's pretty small & cozy....so don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table especially during peak times.

    2) Appetizer -- sweet potato fries and/or tamales.
Entree -- Combo platter is definitely the way to go. (but it is a TON of food so be prepared to take some leftovers home with you.)
Dessert -- Save some room for the banana pudding.  The lemon ice box pie is good too.

Sweet, thanks for the ideas.  Somewhat relatedly, I have a coworker swearing up and down that BBQ Spaghetti is the bees knees.  Truth or nostalgia?
