Sorry I just like to see the look on someone's face when I say that. I deal poker at the largest casino and poker room in NM. I am trained to deal roulette, blackjack, and most of the "carnival" games. I was recruited to the poker room 14 years ago, when it was booming. We have 15 tables, and some nights we could fill 30 or more. The hard part of my job is not dealing the game, but dealing with the geniuses who play the game. Tournament drama queens are the worst. Hoodies, sunglasses, I-pods, waiting until the last moment to look at their hand, looking around to see if the camera is on them, then folding anyway. Tourney players are famous for not tipping also. My customers can range from college students gambling with their lunch money, to millionaire trust fund babies and everyone in between. The biggest jackpot I have dealt was just over 86000. 4 jacks were beaten by 4 queens, that was a memorable day! I don't play poker because I hear more than enough of the same comments all day, and really need to get away from people when I am off the clock.
Friends don't let good friends smoke cheap cigars.
I spend every day in my studio making stuff. Sometmes I make art sometimes I make just stuff. Lately I have been steam bending a 66" hickory long bow and chainsawing firewood.Last week I mounted some flint points in arrows with pine pitch and buffalo sinew.Usually I work on one of my wood lathes or on the bench with carving tools. To relax i roll cigars or tie flies and go fishing. We live in the woods andI'll go a week without seeing anyone other than my better half.
Im a Physical Therapist and work for a home health company. There’s a few a$$holes here that say I just rub down old men all day. I think they’re jealous. I also recently joined the National Guard and am working towards becoming an officer.
I'm slightly jealous that you got to go out on a fishing boat like that.
When your family is in that business, you don't get an option. LOL! Although, if my step dad had lived longer, my boys would have learned what real work was and I regret that they did not get that chance.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
I operated many of these, on the Mississippi River, Gulf ICWW, and many other rivers. Pushing barges filled with a multitude of cargo's, Grains to petrochemicals. Did this for 30+ years, Then taught Maritime Science for 10 years. Now I enjoy cigars, and completing my bucket list.
I am a happy man. You have made me very grateful. For this is the very first time that the Crown Jewels have ever been adequately & deliriously praised by an unprejudiced person. Still it is the cigars' own fault that this is so for it is a cigar which excites envy & jealousy in the smoker because he knows & feels the truth of which you have said; that there is no other cigar that is just like it. There are cigars which resemble it but only in appearance, not in spirit & not in the ability to dare & do. There is no other cigar that can make a person want to go away & get by himself & think this life over & wonder if it is altogether worth while. I will send you some more when you get out. Let me know. Any man of fine intelligence who is acquainted with Crown Jewels prizes them above any other gems & saves them & hoards them. I gave Harry Rogers a box two years ago & he has them yet. Let me know when you are out.
