Humidor beads

The humidity in my house during the summer is around 75% and my humidor seams to follow suit. Do beads for humidors work to keep the humidity constant? I’ve read that they will expel moisture if needed and absorb excess moisture if it’s to high. Is this true and if so what is the best brand?

If your KL has too much moisture in it, you can dry it out, Randy.  I'd bet w/ your dry climate you could leave it out in an open container for a couple days and be golden.  Some years when I make the transition for winter/adding moisture to KL/cigars into springtime/having less moisture in the box, I'll pop my KL containers into the microwave... steams the moisture right out of the beads w/ no ill effects.
