I’ve been taking statins for about two months for the first month I had a little pain in my joints but not much. I haven’t had any real problems with them they also put me on fish oil twice a day and a low-cholesterol diet high in the good fats. It’s not exciting but it’s really not that bad. Broccoli still sucks.
Cigars were made to be smoked, whiskey was made to be drank and women were made to be loved. The only thing I try to age is myself.

Been on statins a couple years, cholesterol was 260 range, started out cutting them in two as it felt like a stake was driven thru my chest but doc adjusted dose and no problems since. Cholesterol now 110, no changes to diet to speak of other than the recent change removing beer as a major source of caloric intake. Cost to me is like $10/mo.
