I have some slightly skewed tastes at times, but all on this list are noteworthy. I am leaving out a few since they are comprised of "Unobtainium" ... In the order I like them (for now I guess) -

Flores Y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve
Arturo Fuente Chateau series (sun grown or maduro)
    Oliva 'V' Melanio
    Alec Bradley Prensado
    MF Le Bijou 1922
    Padron Serie 1926
    DE Liga Privada No. 9
    Sombremesa
    La Gloria Cubana Serie 'R'
    Rocky Patel Decade
Cohiba Black (more focused on the little "Pequenos" when I type this)
    Ave Maria Argentum

Sorry Ro I had to change it up mid thread. Maybe seeing what others are nominating will make others think about that cigar also. Tied for first right now.

i know you smoked a cigar or two this year. What stood out to you?

I've always thought that the top whatever of whatever year shoul be from that year.  Ever notice how CA never mentions the year of release on these.  A five year old cigar will be different than a fresh 1, so in my opinion the best of should be based on releases from the specific year.

Flor de Cesar was the best new cigar I had this year.

But I don't smoke much and am not even sure it's new.

I'll add the Boondock Saint and the Mi Quireda to my list. I had both yesterday and find myself reaching for both regularly.

wow a lot a great cigars on this list. Here's a few that I would recommend:

    1. AVO Improvisation 30 Years
    2. AVO LE05 (2018)
    3. Room101 Farce
    4. Tatuaje Little Boris (2018)
    5. Tatuaje TAA 50th
    6. Tatuaje The Bride (not sure if this came out in 2018 or late 2017)
    7. Viaje Super Shot 12 Gauge
    Great idea for a contest!

So far I have 67 different cigars nominated by 23 members.
There’s still a few days left before I tally the votes. Our list already looks better IMO than CA’s that been revealed so far
