Well I went against some advice from the good brothers on here, but I'm happy to announce we got Rusty the Jeep today up in Kutztown. He's low mileage (66k) and quite a peppy little 5 speed for a 2004.
Appreciate all the advice you fellas offered. I'm now transferred over to a credit union account through where I was financed and couldn't be happier with the payments. My auto insurance actually went down as well, which is surprising because it's full coverage.
Can't wait to get this 'ol boy out on the trails. In the meantime we're going over him with a fine tooth comb to make sure the service record gets off to a good start.
P.S. He's named Rusty because of a spot on the rear quarter panel we gotta replace. No major rust...just thought it fit.

Thanks Doug! Already logged 250 miles today. Didn't smell the clutch so I must be doin' something right haha.

We get it man. Sometimes you just gotta have the vehicle, and its not like you went out and bought above your means. You determined how much you could afford before going out and buying it. Very smart move. Looks nice! Enjoy the ride. Any chance you get, pay that puppy off as fast as you can, and you'll be all the happier!
How do you like my profile pic Taborski? @matkn293
Congrats on the new Jeep. Along with the payments, make sure you start saving up for repairs at the same time, those can come quick and out of the blue with seasoned vehicles.
Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.
