If what they wanted to do was to punk everybody and draw attention to their core blends and re-awaken some interest in them and also to prove that we are suckers for cigar industry marketing that is geared towards our thoughts rather than our tastes, I guess I'm OK with that. And if the suckers are butt hurt over it, I think that is hilarious. Makes me want some Avo. And if prices drop,..... good for me.
Reminds me of those commercials where there's a fancy restaurant or food truck and it's revealed that they're eating McDonalds or drinking Folgers and thinking it's the best.

Tonight I grabbed the first AVO I could find, an AVO Heritage robusto. Came out to the garage and checked the V-herf. Nobody's on. So I watched the whole video. It was boring up until the "reveal". It got a little more interesting after that, hearing them explain their intention for this deception marketing scheme. But, I don't particularly like these people. I wasn't impressed with how impressed they were with themselves. Not that many have watched on youtube, (331 views and only 2 comments, no negative comments yet). It will be interesting to see if they get more backlash than appreciation, or worse, apathy.

Although, places are dropping their prices everywhere and closing them out.
Corona cigar had them down to $89/box.
Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
Coronas prices ^^
