Kind of related, about ten minutes ago my cat was sleeping next to me on the sofa, all curled up and peaceful. In a split second he jumps two feet into the air and lands in a dead run across the room. I have no idea what startled him, the house is pretty quiet.

Got her first visit to the vet Tuesday, purred even when getting her shots. Vet said she is surprisingly healthy for being separated from her mother so young and being abandoned. She’s up to 2 pounds now
