By me everything related to a celebration is shut down, so inlew of Debbie downers, and buzz killingtons I propose a contest. All are welcome in this one. Rules: one post equals two entries (one for you, one for the other). Two posts per day allowed as long as they follow the rules. To enter, each post must mention another members name, and mention something positive about them. This is a day for celebration after all! I have done this in the past and found it fun, it's easy to **** someone out, it's harder to complement. Anyway this will not be rigged like Calvins contest. @Yakster will help me out live on vherf with the random number crap. This will go until the 5th of July.

I do not want an entry. I do want to say that there are multitudes of people here that reach out to me on a regular basis, and I really appreciate that. Life has been way more hectic than I intended for the last 18 months or so, and a lot of people here have made me feel like I still have a place where I am welcomed. If you absolutely must take this as an entry, consider it @CalvinAndHobo entering @Usaf06

I want to first recognize @IndustMech for taking over arranging the accommodations for the Excellent Herf when I had to drop out. By all accounts he did a bang up job. I also hear that he brought lots of great beer and he's a steady companion on the vHerf. Good job, John!
For my second, I'd like to recognize @peter4jc for putting up with youins at the Excellent Herf. He's the host with the most, and a good friend but the worst CAS counselor. Way to go Peter.
Glad this is open for a few days. We have a lot of great people on this forum. I would like to nominate Jim @Bigshizza Jim has the biggest heat and is always going out of his way to help others. Oh did I mention he sends out some of the best cigar samplers I’ve ever had

Best hint I got was something Stubble (I think) said: 'some clip too much off their cigars'. That has been very useful to me; what a surprise--the heads don't unravel any more. Thanks, Stubble or whoever.

Really hard to single out one person, y'alls great people. So I decided to pick the penultimate entrant in the Post Every Boring Aspect Of Your Mundane Life Thread. Hope you win, @ShawnOL, and good luck figuring out which wires go where on your new 'puter.
I didn't go but @peter4jc and @Patrickbrick for hosting the Herf o' Excellence and sharing pictures of it! I know hosting out of towners is a pain but y'all went above and beyond. Hoping to make it one of these years.
