Why are my cigars blowing up?
My tupidor is setting at 67‰ and the cigars have been in it at least 2 weeks. Pulled an Oliva G torpedo out to smoke yesterday. Had a terrible time keeping it lit and it swelled the box press out as it burned. Today pulled a short story and it swelled. Outside humidity is 60-80 percent

That Oliva G and the Short Story both have a delicate Cameroon wrapper. Look into dry boxing your cigars, take them out of the humidor in the morning if you're going to smoke it at night and give it time to acclimate before you set fire to it.

Torpedos are supposed to blow up, aren't they?

Sometimes when the wrapper and binder of the cigar gets dry and the filler is moist the cigar will swell and burst when smoked. What I have done is spray the cigar once with a light mist from a spray bottle. Then lay that cigar down for at least a half hour so the wrapper can relax and stretch a bit.

It's a good thing you're as tall as you are; I was afraid it'd go over your head.

Seems to me, you better have a little height around this place or you'll drown in bull shit.
