2020 CCOM Forum Top 25 of the Year (voting)

deadmandeadman Posts: 8,855 ✭✭✭✭✭

Ok it’s time to get to this started.

What was your top cigars this year? Post here or PM me if you prefer. If you think of another smoke later post it, there is not a limit on how many cigars you can add to your list.

I will tally the results like years prior and post the collective results. Just like last year I will enter everyone who votes into a drawing for a forum fiver at the end. (Good Traders List also)

Does this mean the cigar had to come out this year?

I'm not sure of the release date, but the best new-to-me cigar I had this year was Bellas Artes Maduro Short Churchill. I think I've bought 3 boxes so far.

I'm sure the rest of you will hate it, so don't go buy them all up like toilet paper, leave them for me.

No, it doesn’t have to be a new release

Well then some manufacturer's Champagne noir blend is definitely getting a vote...

Here's my top 25 list. It's limited to the ones that I actually got to smoke this year.

    1. Tat Anarchy Kaos
    2. Triqui traca
    3. DTT U-Boat pre commission
    4. Viaje Zombie black
    5. Ave Maria dark knight
    6. Viaje skull and bones my?stery
    7. Bishop's blend robusto
    8. Romacraft baka
    9. Espinosa 20th anniversary
    10. Southern draw fraternal order white lancero
    11. DTT Polpetta
    12. Hvc black friday 2020 corona gordo
    13. Viaje Zombie Green
    14. DTT Frog Juice
    15. BLTC Super deluxe
    16. MF Fonseca
    17. Emilio LTZ LE
    18. BLTC color project the reckoning
    19. DTT Red meat lovers 2nd edition
    20. Charter oak habano
    21. Diesel esteli puro
    22. Aladino Cameroon
    23. Epc pledge
    24. HVC Black Friday firecracker
    25. Man o war Valkyrie

Honorable mention to the illusione pca special edition. I think it's going to be good with some time. Book is still out on the zombie red. Tat TAA20 was a good cigar, but I'm just not that into the Sumatra stuff. The perdomo firecracker may have made my top 25 except for @Scotch_n_Smoke.

It's also worth noting that every single one of these on the top 25 list is completely boxworthy to me. I actually love every single one of those.

I tried to put in all new smokes to me. No padrons because they're not new to me, Even though they occupy the top two spots on my all-time list.

The tat Halloween event only cigar didn't make it because I'm pretty damn sure it's almost the same blend as the kaos.

I've been keeping this running list all year since I had nothing else to do during covid. I may have forgotten something still.

I’m not sure I’ve had 25 cigars released in the last 5 years this year. I can get my top ten in if that is cool.

  • VegasFrankVegasFrank Posts: 18,348 ✭✭✭✭✭

They don't have to be new releases and it doesn't have to be 25 brother.

When I was working in the shipping dept. on the loading docks there was a freight co. that would pick up a few times a week name N&M, they were based out of Neenah Menasha, a small city up near Brad @avengethis. I would ask the drivers if they knew what N&M stood for. The dim bulbs that replied "What?" I would tell them Never Mind. The really dim bulbs would say, "C'mon, tell me."

@VegasFrank I'm surprised you listed the Valkyrie. I would have figured it would be too mild for you.

Davidoff Madison 515 was the best cigar I had this year.
Most of the others that would be on my list have been stated already, Frank must be board listing all those.
