Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
I keep my pimp hand strong and ready.

Yes, yes they do...Steel tipped boots are a must (OSHA approved this message)
With those thick skulls wedged up in there you could get seriously injured with anything less than steel caps.
At any given time the urge to sing "In The Jungle" is just a whim away... A whim away... A whim away...
I absolutely prefer safety toe to steel toe, not a soft or composite fan though.

Composite for the past 15 years

You sir have never had a 5/8thsx6footx4foot pice of glass dropped on your toe box. Thankfully it was my toe box.

Has anyone had a pice of glass dropped on they foot?
They foot?

The irony...
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
eubonics; they=their
Sometimes,...... someone starts a thread about dumasses and we end up talking about the merits of steel toe boots vs composite, and then we end up teaching each other how to spell,.... all on the first page of the thread! Have we got a great forum or what?
I’m still confused, did I have bad grammar? Don’t think so?

Never.
But just you wait... the spelling police are on their way!
Grammar is usually good, spelling, not so much. This is true.

I’ve been trying learn German this year. When I’m typing an email or text in a hurry I’ve caught myself using the German word instead of English. Nothing better than hitting send on a work email right as you notice screwups
The German word for that is ningcompoop

Composite. You, sir, have bever worn metal toed boots in arctic sub-sub-zero temps.
@Trykflyr_1 you misspelled Beaver! ^
Gotta keep the spelling police employed in this time of madness....
Funny cause that’s how I feel about all my coworkers.
What if you can't get your foot up that high anymore?
So I'm in a field techs group and they often complain about how there are no young guys coming into the industry.
So a vocational education group is having a fund raiser, to get new tools and supplies.
They are trying to raise a whopping $500.
So I figure who better to ask for support than established heavy equipment techs, right?
Nope. Not a one donated. Not one single one.
So, the discussion about techs comes up and I replied, Oh no, you don't get to complain about no younger guys coming into the field and NOT support the local vocational classes.
And now, I'm the bad person.
People amaze me.

You are correct, but I do spend a lot of time standing/walking on ice.

Yep. I have. In the Bering Sea on the back deck of a fishing boat.
It sucks. Back then, steel toe was the only option.
