It's 40 bucks a cigar, but the box is worth 20 grand...

I do not care for the scarcity-price-pumping that DE is doing with these.
"Just five were selected to receive the new Liga Privada H99, which is also offered in a single 6 x 52 vitola, though without the special cap and closed foot. The H99 Connecticut uses a corojo-seed leaf grown in the Connecticut River Valley. Underneath that is a Mexican San Andrés negro binder over a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers.
Anthony’s Cigar Emporium (Tuscon, Ariz.)
Cigar House Puerto Rico (Old San Juan, Puerto Rico)
Famous Smoke Shop (Easton, Pa.)
La Vita Cigars (St. Charles, Ill.)
Tinderbox #420 (St. Rapid City, S.D.)
Pricing is set at $14.33 per cigar or $343.92 per box of 24. Each retailer will receive just two boxes of the H99.
Drew Estate says that retailers who are selected for the raffle will not be able to immediately reorder. Instead, they will have the opportunity to be put back into the raffle and are eligible to be selected the following month."

Great marketing ploy reduce availability and raise the price.
If you want to bomb me send it to Tony @0patience
If you are a newbie I got Dem nachos....
They rolled out the Velvet Rat as event only cigars to build a buzz and get everyone wanting them. Now with COVID, I guess they're getting creative in how to use scarcity to build demand because of FOMO.
I don't have any FOMO for any Drew Estate stick. More like POMO (pleasure of missing out).

I'm glad you typed out Pomo so I could figure out FOMO

I agree with Nick that they have to dry out some, but yes I think they're worth it.

@Cam_91 you should buy 20, send them to a real man, and go smoke some tatiana's while you watch the sharks play in overtime against the ducks....

Looking for a quick opinion on the Absolution y’all recently picked up. Worth the full 10 pack?

I agree with Nick that they have to dry out some, but yes I think they're worth it.

@Cam_91
I just got five I should have went ahead and got 10 to begin with. I think they will be good in a couple months
@Cam_91
1. You buy 10.
2. I send you my address
3. You send me 5
4. We smoke them and compare notes
5. You get a free education
6. You win!
@Cam_91
Buy 10
Send 5 in on @EgoBoundary's next blind tasting
I'll make sure to get in on that one.
You win twice or three times.
