Curtain up for Tim Ozgener. After more than a decade-long hiatus from the premium cigar industry, Nashville native Tim Ozgener made his return in 2022 with the inception of Ozgener Family Cigars. The former head of CAO Cigars launched the brand, proudly carrying his family name, with two debut blends, reflecting his rich cultural heritage. “I still love cigars—and I found I appreciate them more and more,” Ozgener said in the official press release to the Cigar Aficionado. “Some of the most satisfying portions of my life were in the cigar business. The last time I joined from my home office and Zoom accidentally triggered a raised hand from the gestures on camera and I was called on when I was working on something else. It's better if I just watch the replay instead of try and watch while working. It was awkward and wasted everyone's time on the call.
