Starting cleaning process. Removed teeth marks and added a bend.


I’m thinking I might smooth the top of the bowl. Your thoughts?

    I absolutely like it better then the original finish but I need it to pop. I’m ok losing a little detail for a better sheen. The stem is buffed but needs a higher speed wheel. The stummel is just hand rubbed for the most part.

    I like the matte/oil finish. The extreme bend of the stem though makes me nervous--hot ashes falling in your lap....

    When you’re right you’re right..... might have to take a little out.

    Just purchased micro mesh and a reamer. Off to the store for leather dye.
