For those who weren't here way back then, Rbeckom and his little brother (? alter ego? minion?) Dbeckom were members here for quite a while. During their tenure they proved themselves to be obnoxious and disingenuous at best, malevolent and twisted at their worst. After their departures there were posts under new accounts that eventually revealed themselves to be these two (one?) characters engaging in more flim-flammery.

There are several tells in mropusx's recent attack that make me think he's Rbeckom. Numerous tells. At any rate, we're better off without him/them.

I have to commend @Vision for sniffing out his / their true character, as well as for his characterization of our little club house here. Dysfunctional family, that's apt. Grouchy uncles and obnoxious cousins, lovable mentors from another age, which is which is up for debate, amongst us.

I am awake, the contrarian woke. I've been awake since long before woke.

Actually, the first time I read the term "woke" was a Van Jones article in one of the local newspapers. This was before Van went national, I think. I liked his perspectives and regularly read his content. I liked the notion he described, although it seemed like it was a little late to the party. It morphed into something else.
