Humidor question

I am having trouble with my Whynter Humidor refrigerator. The temperature keeps dropping to 53 degrees. Anyone have a similar problem?

No not with mine. I do notice that mine will go down to like 62 once in a while. I've noticed that if I keep it on the highest possible temp, it will seem to "stick" on. Don't use the highest setting, use the 2nd highest.

I've read that it can also happen if you jam a bunch of crap in front of the fan. Keep the two inches around the fan clear of stuff and that might help it out too. Or, go with Nick's answer.

Common problem. You need to replace the control board and fan assemblies. I contacted the company. This is a common problem. Parts are under $100 including a soldering service they do on the new board. Took me about an hour to replace. Fixed my problem of inaccurate temp gauge and not holding proper humidity.
