5 pack storage

Most of the 5 packs I receive consist of 5 cellophane wrapped sticks inside another sealed cellophane (?) package
My question is how safe is it to store them in my humidor IN THE SEALED OUTER wrap to age, and for how long?
Or do you recommend removing them from the sealed package and storing them individually
Im definitely into keeping my sticks in the humidor,
in their cellophane wraps
TIA for your advice

I remove the outer plastic and place the sticks in the humi.

Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.

The outer is not cellophane but plastic. I crack mine open and have always been fine.

I’ll quote me. To clarify I agree with Shawn’s post about putting them in the humi but if they go into my gasket box they get cracked open. I also try to remove the tape if applicable.

If you are not sure if it's cello or plastic, put a flame to it....

Cello on the top, plastic on the bottom......

Plastic is found on five packs and boxes. I take always take it completely off both as it doesn't breath as well as cello.
Cello also makes a great fire starter.....And smells better while burning.

  • Thanks. I think i got it:
    Cello stays
    Plastic goes!
