Cigar Smoking Retrohale Question

I have smoked cigars for 10+ years but over the last year have smoked more often (4-5x a week). I do not inhale and believe that the risks of cigars are very minimal when not inhaling. However, I sometimes let the smoke touch the back of my throat and it burns/tingles a little bit. To be honest I kind of enjoy it with spicy and strong cigars. When I am going to retro-hale, I let the smoke back a little further on the soft palate and then exhale it. Is that bad or dangerous? I don’t want to mess with inhaling and the health risks associated with that. Thoughts? Can anyone relate? Is it best just to keep it in the mouth and nasal cavity and not let it near the throat intentionally? Thanks!
