Wetting the Wrapper

Recently, I've been wetting the wrappers by quickly plunging the cigar under a trickle of water right before i cut the end. It seems to make the taste a little more vibrant.

Saw a youtube video and thought why not?
Anyone else do this too?

Definitely tones down the bitterness in some of the sticks I dislike.

Saw Arnold the Terminator dip his in liquor....doubt I'll try that though.
