My grand daughter wanted to watch Poltergeist.
At the beginning of the movie, was the National Anthem on TV. She asked why the TV was playing that.
I had to explain to her, that in my day, TV went off at midnight.

A friend of mine's 5 year old grandson asked her
"Grandma, when you were my age did you play your gameboy before you went to sleep at night?"
She explained "When I was your age there was no such thing as a gameboy, so I couldn't have had one."
He thought this over for a minute and then offered "Walmart had them."

Our parents had it easy when it came to explaining the birds and the bees.
