Headed to Mexico in early March. Just got the news that the government of Mexico has banned all public smoking. Anyone in violation is subject to a $550 USD fine or 72 hours in jail. What a freaking bummer. While I am in two Mexican ports, I will be in "Private Resorts" so maybe they allow it, not really sure if it is worth risking it. Anyone been to Mexico lately?

No wonder they want out.

Tobacco nazis. I thought all the nazis went to Argentina.

damned censorbot. fix link above by substituting **** for the obvious.
The link worked for me, Edward. The censor-bot changed the spelling on the re-written link that directs you to the page that tells you your leaving the cigar.com forum and not the underlying link to the article so you're good.
My plans were to lay on beach, have someone bring me drinks and smoke cigars, literally all day.... i guess it will just be drinks now lol..... 72 hours in Mexican jail doesn't sound very appealing.

Wonder if this will affect Cohiba sales?
