Is it just me or do you see a pipe link at the top of the webpage that doesnt go anywhere?

Once upon a time CCOM sold pipes and accessories. I think even pipe tobacco. However, probably because some of the other companies under the same corporate umbrella did better in that area, they no longer do. It all sort of dwindled away.
I don't know if you ever got around to the Pipe Tips thread, but you'll notice some posts there by "deleted user" that when quoted come up as Sean Lamb. He was the pipe guy here, as well as someplace else, I don't remember where. He was a good resource. I hope he's doing well wherever he landed.

When your in the forum, your really on a site that's hosted by the forum software company, Vanilla Forums, and not cigar.com. The banner you see at the top was probably copied from the CCOM site when they used to sell pipes and not updated on the forum site when they stopped dealing in pipes. I've seen this happen in other places including in companies I've worked for, it can be a challenge to keep the hosted forum or support site in sync with the main site, especially if your not updated about any changes made.
