So we finally got an offer accepted to buy a house.
A survey has to be done on the property and that can take a bit to get done.
And it has to appraise good. Which in today's market, probably not gonna be an issue.
10 acres and an 1800 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house.
So by the end of March, we should be moving in. Hurry up and wait. 🤣🤣

Tony's gonna make us work for it. Let the public records search commence April 1.
Sounds like a road trip for recon.
I will tell you that it is in the Huntingdon area. 😉

That's exactly what I'd expect someone to say who isn't moving to the Huntingdon area...
Okay

It'll be fine once the swelling goes down.
Lunch says John already found it
MOW badge received.
Definitely a Road trip is needed. Loved traveling through Bruceton and Huntingdon when I was a youngster. Not far from Paris or Lexington!!!
We're in Lexington now.
Actually, we're in Parker's Crossroads, but more or less still Lexington.
It's a 45 minute drive to my work in Jackson and when we move to Huntingdon, it will still be a 45 minute drive.
The 10 acres will be nice to have room, especially for my hounds to run. And it has a fairly large pond on it, that the hounds and grandkids will likely want to play in.
The appraisal and survey have to be done, which may drag it out a bit.
The nice thing about working from 6 am to 2:30 pm is I am still home around 3:30pm

I thought this whole thing started because you were retiring??
My favorite cigar list here
Yeah. Well, I want to get things paid off quickly and I like toys for me and the grandkids.
And I was made an offer I couldn't refuse.
In a couple years, I'll have things paid off and will be able to pull social security and take home as much as I was working.
