These threads take on a life of their own.
Usually, they are fabulous because of it.
What was your intent?
Maybe it's a joke I don't get.
I am curious though.
I had to google the names you posted.
Characters from Boston Legal?
Except that Shatner was in it, I know almost nothing of it.
Do those character names ring a bell with everyone except me?
(You got two WTFs, neither of which was mine, so I'm guessing no.)
So, unless you clue me in, I have no clue.
I'm not mad or annoyed. I'm genuinely curious.
Because, if a joke goes over my head, I tend to dissect it to see why I didn't get it.
Like the other day with the Meme in the meme thread about the study/survey results where the boss wanted a different outcome.
I didn't entirely get the joke, and nobody gave an LOL or any reaction. I was certain it had something to do with the mathematical definition of "means" so I wanted to dissect it and I looked it up, but I couldn't get to the point of complete understanding. In that case, I considered my failure to get the joke,... my fault.
But Denny Crane and Alan Shore?
That seems like your fault.
Bill and Hillary.
Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.
Alan Shore and Denny Crane were two of my favorite characters on one of my all time favorite TV shows. Boston Legal, serious, hilarious, tongue-in-cheek all at the same time.

Oh, and as a bonus, at the end of every episode Denny and Alan sat out on a balcony with Scotch and a cigar and discussed the events.

Clearly my bad. I thought it would have been a better known shown. What Amos said is why I listed them. Their relationship I envy. total different politics but accepted each other in a WIDE variety of scenarios. Fought but always ended with Whiskey and a cigar. Was watching it over again so was just curious other such friendships. Guess I was going for more positive friendships. Was interesting it seemed to go the other way. But makes sense if no one knows the show.
